The Redline stands against the widespread use of generative AI for ethical, moral and creative reasons.
The Redline does not use generative AI for any of its stories, data gathering or checking. Generative AI is digital asbestos and we are not in the business of making the internet worse.
All data is checked manually by a human against published data from manufacturers and cross-checked with other sources, then checked again until there is a consensus.
All articles are written by a human and checked by a human. Grammar and spelling are checked by built-in operating system tools and by a human.
No images are generated using AI by this site or its related companies. Some images supplied by manufacturers may have used AI and if we know that for sure, we will add a note, as we would for a render rather than a real image.
We don’t believe generative AI serves our readers nor does it make any sense in a creative or environmental sense.
Humans write better than AI and can tell if something is wrong.
We stand against generative AI.
